Why does RealityPlus Clothing only offer womens plus sizes 14-24?

Since this is our launch, we needed to get an idea of what size most of our customers were looking for. We have already heard from many of you and will be adding 4x and up to size 28. In Spring of 2008, we will offer sizes 1X-4X and 14W -28W. We heard you!

Do you offer styles in both tall and petite womens plus sizes?

For Fall 07, we have offered our core pants in regular length and petite. For Spring 08, we will add Tall. But rest assured, our regular lengths are generous enough to cover most talls with a finished inseam of 33”. In the near future, we will offer our career jackets in petite and tall as well.

Does RealityPlus Clothing Company use models?

No. At RealityPlus, we want you to see yourself in our clothes. We feel strongly about not showing “people” in our images. Regardless of size, age, or color, we want you to see yourself! Unlike many of our competitors, RealityPlus Clothing uses a size 20W mannequin so our customers can see what our styles look like on a plus size figure. Besides, by not using professional models, we can keep our costs down and don’t have to charge you to cover overhead! (You won’t believe how hard it was to find a mannequin in a size larger than a 14 either!)

Can I get a catalog?

We are not producing a catalog, but you can print out pictures of items or outfits you like! Print them out and share them with friends, or give them as a suggestion for your “wish list” for gifts! At RealityPlus Clothing Company, we are interested in sustainability and being kind to the earth. Producing tons of catalogs is not good for the environment, so we choose to be paperless and offer our “catalog” on line.

What is “fair pricing”?

RealityPlus Clothing Company is privately owned, privately financed. We have no big CEO salaries or corporate jets. Our products are sourced directly from our factories and brought straight to you without the cost of bricks and mortar overhead. That is why we are able to offer you better product quality at lower prices than you will find at traditional stores. Better quality / fair prices. It’s that simple.

Does RealityPlus Clothing offer coupons?

See fair pricing above. We don’t mark our product up in order to offer coupons or promotional sales. When you select our product, rest assured that it will not be marked down, or have coupon arrive in the mail before you even get home from the store! We begin with a fair price, fair mark-up. No coupons, no confusion.

What about sales?

We are women, and we love a sale! Since we offer fair pricing from the beginning of each season, RealityPlus only breaks price twice a year. Once at the end of Summer (August), and once at the end of Fall (January). This is when you can stock up at mark down prices. But be aware that your style and size might be sold out!

What do you mean by Limited Quantities?

Items offered in limited quantities are frequently items that are hand crafted, which means we are limited in the number of pieces that can be produced. It can also mean that we are testing, or introducing an item to get customer feedback. Either way, it means that you get an item that is unique! You won’t see yourself coming and going in the same thing your best friend or sister is wearing!

What is a “Collection”?

At RealityPlus Clothing, we design our clothing to take you from work to weekend. Each season we focus on a trend and color story that helps you build a business and dressy casual wardrobe by selecting key items and building on what you already have! The concept is simple and makes sense! You will be surprised at how many looks you can get from a few great pieces!

How many Collections do you introduce a year?

Five times a year: Spring, Summer, Transition, Fall and Holiday. Each collection is designed to build on what you bought the previous season. This way, you can purchase a little or a lot depending on your budget! All seasons are “wear now”. We know you do not want a coat in July or a beach ensemble in January.

What do you do with customer feedback?

Hopefully, we learn and become better at serving you. Since RealityPlus Clothing Company exists solely to serve the plus size woman in her search for contemporary, high quality clothing, we are constantly in search of ways to do it better. Your letters, comments, and suggestions are welcome and needed!
